Milwaukee’s 3494-23R M12 three-tool cordless combo kit has returned for the 2026 holiday shopping season at $199, according to ToolGuyd. The kit adds a brushed 3/8-inch ratchet to a drill-and-driver package; a two-tool version is also on promotion for $149.
Milwaukee’s 3494-23R M12 three-tool cordless combo kit is back at a reported $199 for the 2026 holiday shopping season, according to tool coverage site ToolGuyd. The kit includes a compact brushless drill and impact driver plus a brushed 3/8-inch ratchet, giving buyers a ratchet-equipped alternative to the separately promoted two-tool kit priced at $149.
ToolGuyd says the three-tool package includes Milwaukee’s M12 compact brushless drill, a compact brushless impact driver and an older brushed-motor 3/8-inch ratchet. The package also comes with two compact 2.0Ah batteries, a charger and a tool bag. The report lists the price as $199, but does not specify the sale’s end date or provide details about regional availability.
The corresponding two-tool combo is $149, according to the report. That version offers the drill-and-driver pairing without the ratchet. The $50 difference is the price of moving to the three-tool package, rather than a separately itemized price for the ratchet.
ToolGuyd describes the included drill and impact driver as less powerful than Milwaukee’s M12 Fuel alternatives, while saying the author prefers their ergonomics. It also characterizes the brushed ratchet as a value option, though less powerful and less feature-rich than newer M12 Fuel brushless ratchets. Those are the publication’s assessments, not specifications or comparisons independently verified here.
The $50 Ratchet Trade-Off
The main choice for shoppers is whether the cordless ratchet is useful enough to justify the $50 gap between the reported promotions. Buyers who need a ratchet may find the three-tool package a convenient way to add one while also getting two power tools, batteries and a charger. Those who do not expect to use a ratchet can avoid paying for an extra tool by choosing the $149 drill-and-driver kit.
The deal also illustrates a practical distinction between a promotional bundle and buying each tool separately: the ratchet is included in the higher-priced kit, but the source does not give separate current prices for the components. ToolGuyd argues that the $50 difference is unusually low for adding a cordless ratchet. Readers should treat that as the publication’s value judgment and compare the included brushed model’s capabilities with their intended work.

Holiday Kit Options
ToolGuyd’s report frames the offer as a return of a holiday-season promotion, rather than the launch of a new Milwaukee tool. The three-tool kit combines two compact brushless tools with an older brushed ratchet. That combination matters because the ratchet does not share the brushless design of the drill and driver, and ToolGuyd says newer M12 Fuel ratchets offer more power and features.
The source says buyers do not need to rush, noting that similar promotional combo kits commonly appear through the holiday shopping season. That is the publisher’s expectation, not a guarantee that this specific kit will remain available at $199. The report also carries an affiliate disclosure: ToolGuyd says it may earn a commission when readers buy through its links.

Offer Terms and Stock
The available source does not establish the offer’s retailer, end date, inventory level or geographic availability. It also does not confirm whether the reported prices are still active at the time a shopper checks, or whether delivery, tax or other purchase terms affect the final cost. ToolGuyd’s description is the factual basis here; the offer details have not been independently confirmed.
The report does not provide detailed performance specifications for the included tools or explain how the brushed ratchet compares with particular current models. Shoppers weighing the kits should check the retailer’s listing for exact model contents, warranty terms and current price before ordering.
Check the Listing Before Buying
The next step for interested buyers is to verify the current price and kit contents with the retailer carrying the promotion. The report gives no announced deadline, so availability should not be assumed to continue throughout the holiday season even though ToolGuyd expects similar combo promotions to appear.
Shoppers can compare the two-tool and three-tool versions based on whether they have a use for the included brushed ratchet, then check battery capacity, charger inclusion and warranty terms. No further announcement or confirmed change to the offer is provided in the source material.
